Welcome 

  I am professor of Economics at the Università di Sassari and research affiliate  at CRENoS. 

My current research focuses on financial systems' stability and regulation, credit markets under asymmetric information, macroeconomics and financial frictions, firms' market power and migration, pandemic and the labor market.  In the past, I worked on financial development and economic growth as well as on the signalling role of prices in markets with adverse selection.

I hold a Laurea in Economia e Commercio from Università di Pisa and Scuola Sant'anna di Pisa, an MSc in Economics from LSE, a Ph.D in Economics from SOAS and a Ph.D in Economics from Scuola Sant'anna di Pisa.
